Fix The Source of Water That Caused The Mold

The most important thing you can do at this point is find the source of the water. The source can be a pipe leak, window leak, crack in exterior wall or a roof leak. Water intrusion from the exterior is a recurring type of leak from a window or crack in wlll. These types of leaks have a long term consequence and slowly damage the areas.

Air Conditioning drain pipes can become blocked and back up. This can be a serious problem if not detected early. This type of leak can cause a lot of damage if not detected early. It is important to keep the humidity below 50%  humidity. Up to 55% is OK but it means that there is a problem staring to happen that must be addressed. A lot of times when we see humidity over 50%, it means there is an added source in the house due to air leakage from outside. Finding the source will have to be your main concern. If you ignor this process, it will haunt you later. It is easier to fix something with the walls open than later with the walls closed.
